About This Course

This course provides the necessary information on safety requirements for setting up and using scaffoldings during construction and maintenance projects that have heights up to 40 meters.

Learning Objectives

Be exposed to the local and international laws and standards for safe scaffolding.
Clearly communicate the risks involved in scaffolding activities.
Recognize the different components of scaffolding.
Inspect scaffolding for faulty installations and damaged parts.
Identify the advantages and disadvantages of individual modular scaffolding systems.
Understand the minimum and maximum requirements for scaffolds, including lift height, bay width, length of light/medium/heavy duty scaffolds, bracing, and tying.
Estimate the quantity of materials needed for the job.
